AZB & Partners Bangalore office has promoted senior associate Anind Thomas to its partnership.
His promotion to partnership will take effect from 1 January 2011, according to a statement from the firm.
Thomas graduated from NLSIU Bangalore in 2003 and specialises in corporate and private equity work.
AZB or Thomas was not immediately available for further comment at the time of going to press.
Earlier this week AZB Bangalore partner Anup Shah and roughly 20 other lawyers left the firm to re-create Anup Shah Law Offices, a little over a year after Shah and his firm merged with AZB.
