Argus Partners expands partnership to 10, promotes 4 with eye on growth story

Argus Partners has promoted four managing associates internally to non-equity partner level.

Banking and finance lawyer Aastha in Mumbai, litigation and real estate lawyer Kumar NJ in Bangalore, litigation lawyer Pooja Chakrabarti in Kolkata and infrastructure lawyer Shubha Karra in Mumbai were all promoted to non-equity partner.

Managing partner Krishnava Dutt said: “I wish them all the very best in their sojourn as partners of the Firm as they play an extremely critical role in the firms growth story.”

“We look forward to a healthy mix of organic consolidation of our home grown talent pool and lateral partnerships to play a vital role in our growth story,” he added.

Udwadia Udeshi & Argus, which was created by the merger of Argus Partners and Udwadia & Udeshi in 2012, had broken up one year ago, after several senior departures.
