The results for the All India Bar Exam (AIBE) are now available on the website of the Bar Council of India (BCI) official website.
Results are accessible with candidates’ roll number and date of birth. The 25 August 2013 exam – the fifth AIBE conducted by the BCI, which was delayed by around 6 weeks – was reported to have been of moderate difficulty.
The publication of the fourth AIBE results contained errors that meant some candidates who were told they had passed, had actually failed for “technical reasons”.
The BCI has not published any pass percentages or other statistics for the last two exams.

One example of BCI efficiency - the certificates sent to a major southern state were sent with the photographs of other people affixed. The registrar returned them, and small batches are being sent by BCI. These are candidates without any technical problems, clear passers whose documentation was without issues and who sat for the exam as per regular registration, not by affidavit.
The BCI's utter contempt for young lawyers remains shocking and little covered. LI could consider doing a story on the practice cert scandal and then keep a post open for personal horror stories. I know of a number of young lawyers whose careers have been damaged by the BCI's delay in accomplishing these simple tasks.
Yes, they have. But those temp indulgences from the BCI are not intended to run in perpetuity. They don't relieve BCI of the duty to timely execute the exam (AIBE4 was delayed more than six months) or to deliver results and certificates in the manner promised. They're the apex regulator of a noble profession in the world's largest democracy, and routinely assert their authority to exclude government oversight other than their own. You'd hope they could take care of basic housekeeping,
And as we know from the BCI's whole whoops!-you-actually-failed flip flop on hundreds of originally passing scores, until you have the certificate in your hands, nothing from the BCI can be believed. And even then, you're entitled to doubt.
