TransForm

(A National Conference on Transgender Rights and the Law)

in Bangalore

on 14th and 15th December 2016



CLPR invites students to submit an essay on the topic:

“Taking Transgender Rights Seriously: Making Authentic Lives Possible”



Eligibility:

This is open to any student enrolled in a full time educational programme.



Submission Guidelines:

Email submissions in ‘.pdf’ or ‘.doc’ formats to

The essay may adopt any consistent citation style. The word limit for the essay is 3000 words inclusive of footnotes or endnotes.

Co-authorship is permitted.



Submission Deadline:

11:59 pm, 11th December, 2016



Prize Money:

1st position: Rs. 7,500

2nd position: Rs. 5,000

3rd position: Rs. 2,500



Winners:

The winning essays will be announced and disseminated at the Conference on 14-15 December 2016 in Bangalore.

The winners will also be informed by email.
