Majmudar on $94m UK outsourcing sale next to Addleshaw, Eversheds

Majmudar & Co, UK law firms Addleshaw Goddard and Eversheds have advised on the buyout of UK-based Ventura’s call centre business by FTSE-listed outsourcing company Capita for $94m.

Majmudar partner Rukshad Davar led for the Capita Group on the Indian leg of the transaction involving acquisition of the Indian subsidiary with the buyer-side having India-based operations in the city of Pune.

Addleshaw Goddard partner Richard Thomas represented the Capita Group as the English legal counsel.

Eversheds acted for the seller Venture, which through its trading name manages 500m customer contacts each year as a third party customer services provider, said Davar.

The deal, which is a cash-free and debt-free transaction, would include transfer of Ventura’s 8,000 employees stationed in Yorkshire, Cardiff, Milton Keynes and Pune, India, reported Recruiter.
