Mumbai firm Gagrats and Link Legal have advised on the joint venture (JV) between Jet Airways and GMR Hyderabad International Airport and Malaysian Aerospace Engineering.

Link Legal partner Atul Sharma and senior associate Ajay Sawhney advised MAS GMR Aerospace Engineering Company, which was a JV created between GMR and Malaysian Aerospace Engineering last year.

Link Legal had advised GMR on that initial JV and is now main adviser to the joint company.

Gagrats partner Rustam Gagrat led the team for the firm's long-standing client Jet Airways.

The current 50:50 JV between MAS GMR has now signed a memorandum of understanding with Jet Airways to provide heavy maintenance services of the airline's entire fleet over the next ten years.
