IndusLaw tallies up Abacus buy-out by IT consultants ASM

IndusLaw has advised Bangalore-based IT consulting company ASM Technologies on its complete buy-out of US company Abacus Business Solutions which had drafted in Californian firm Pacific Law Group in an all-cash purchase.

The Bangalore office of IndusLaw led by partner Suneeth Katarki and associate Pallavi Kanakagiri acted opposite Pacific Law Group’s partner Hong-Jin Guan and counsel-in-charge Sonoo Otsu.

The transaction involved acquisition of the outstanding stock of Abacus by ASM through its Singapore subsidiary Advanced Synergic. The companies hope to increase the enterprise resource planning (ERP) business network in the US with this acquisition.
