Cons are the Administration and the Exam Pattern. VC is leaving soon and we have an examination reforms committee set in place so if everything goes well we might see these cons disappear in a couple of years.
Pros are the peer group which is extremely diverse (No domicile quota yet) it might get implemented next year tho, Single hostel rooms and excellent placements with a good alumini network.
I would keep it above GNLU and below WBNUJS.
Overall any good image NLUJ has is because of its student community and none of it can be attributed to the administration, some faculty is extremely good others are average.
A tip, if you are looking to join the university, please don't opt for BA, it will make your already stressful lawschool life even more stressful.
It was removed from the aditya birla scholarship earlier this year which was odd.
A decent place with the best campus life, on par with GNLU but behind the tier 1 schools.
