The college admin has sent notices to students for fines ranging from 20,000 to 50,000. All of this is being done โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ the graduating batch.
I support it. A good way to deter indiscipline and the money earned came be used for campus development.
โ€œCampus developmentโ€ or a dowry collection scheme for their kids? You seem to be just another โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ
Every day Iโ€™m hearing some or the other negative news about this place. God knows what VCV is doing to the students there. Too much PR on social media yet the picture on the ground seems so pathetic. God save this institution!
The placements have been excellent. Maybe you smoked too much or screwed too much at the lakeside.
The graduating batch of 2023 has been responsible for a lot of anarchy in the preceding year. Reproducing a short account of how they have systematically churned the growth of HNLU, yet claiming record placements which were largely pinched by the market boom.

Firstly, HNLU witnessed a mini outbreak of viral infections in the middle of September. The college authorities pushed the nearing mid semester exams by a week. However, the graduating batch rallied support from unnerving juniors to demand further postponement of exams even after the outbreak has dusted.

Secondly, the graduating batch put relentless pressure on the SBA to pursue an elongated campus in-timing till 3 AM. The administration agreed on 12 AM. However, they kept burning bridges and staged self serving protests inviting and pressurising junior batches to support their cause. The demand for extended timings was
Continuing:

The demand for extended timings by the fifth years was never made out of sincere efforts to promote a good law school culture. Fifth years have been least involved in helping the junior batches academically or otherwise.

Thirdly, when push came to shove during the farewell night where the fifth years made a mockery of institutional ethics by engaging in open consumption of contrabands in the auditorium, despite having the next day reserved as unofficial farewell.

The fine imposed on fifth years is absolutely justified. It should set a precedent that you cannot toy with an academic institute and mould its sanctity for your unethical pursuits.
Finally, the truth. As a student of batch '27, I am very grateful for your courage and succinct articulatation. Perhaps there are a few good seniors too!
The level of confidence this comment has in how accurate it's description of how anarchist Batch 23 has been in the past year is almost unnerving. Perhaps, this confidence should also be reflected in the individual disclosing his identity and taking a stand openly for what he/she believes to be the truth. Please don't hide behind a bush, speak truth to power openly.
Sshh, there are trolls here who believe VCV is the second coming of the Christ.
Yeah that too under the able guidance of a โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ faculty named โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ who doesn't knows how law works. Didn't realise when a law uni turned out to be a arts college
I have heard that final year students in SBA have been fined as well and awarded hostel suspensions after being thrashed by their juniors. Didn't know why such people from the โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ batch of final years have been a part of SBA.
