This is the first time I am seeing past/present NLU VCs explicitly getting involved in political causes. It's true that Prof Mohan Gopal has had a long association with the Congress, Bimal Patel is close to the BJP, and similarly the present VC of NUJS is close to the TMC and so is is rumoured successor. But such open letter writing is at another level. NLU Sonipat may be the lowest ranked NLU, but it is an NLU nevertheless and CLAT consortium member.
It's kind of worrying tbh. They may have your leanings but should they be so open about it?
