Both Jindal and NLS have fallen. Not a good news actually.

Jindal was ranked 70 in 2022. They are down by 14 ranks to 84 in 2023. One more fall and out of top 100.

NLS dropped 50 ranks 151-200 in 2022 to 200-250 in 2023.

NALSAR/ NLU Delhi must break into top 300 globally now.

You are correct. There is a fall. But I think the more important question to ask is why are only these two laws schools figuring? The answer is clear: other NLUs have suffered faculty exodus and suffering from terrible leadership. People are refusing to admit this, as they are jealous of NLSIU and Jindal.
You have to apply to be a part of QS. It isn't an auto screening like you're implying.
No, you DO NOT need to apply. The mod should mark such comments as trollish.
QS literally asks the universities to send a list of foreign scholars whom they can approach for rating the universities. Please do not try to pass off your ignorance as facts. Ask anyone teaching at Jindal. They are required to give the names of 3 such foreign scholars to the admin.
Idk why you're all taking these rankings so seriously. How many Oxbridge law profs get hired by Yale or even other top US schools. Which professor would leave Columbia or Chicago law for LSE.
