NUJS, NUALS, HPNLU, NLIU, CNLU and NLUJ to have new vice chancellors this year? Who would be the next generation vice chancellors?

NUJS is not going to have a new VC in this year. Earliest would be July 2024.

I can't believe people aren't talking about this!! We are at a critical juncture for legal education here: will the Sudhir model at NLSIU be replicated elsewhere? Will NLU alumni now take over their alma mater?

Is Gen Z not at all interested in these issues?

Interested enough to know that no other NLU alumni is currently qualified as per UGC norms.

What Sudhir model? Take thrice the number of students and let the place sink? Or increase fees sky high, charge money for virtual convo and keep getting thrashed at court?

I suspect many of the new VCs will be the TLC oldies of NLSIU who have been marginalised by Sudhir.
