I'm an A2 currently working at a T3 law firm which isn't exactly known to be the best paymaster. I like the work and have a decent rapport with my colleagues. I am involved in most complex matters the firm has at the moment and generally overburden with work.
Knowing the firm's payscale, I know the increment isn't going to be much. Would it be worthwhile to talk to my Partner to ask for a higher increment or is better to silently quit? I have no job offers in hand at the moment. Will I be better off negotiating with a job offer in hand?
