Faizan Mustafa did very little for the college in terms recruiting faculty, especially alumni faculty (compare with Sudhir), improving infra and strengthening foreign collaborations. He was busy making YouTube videos and airing his political views.
Along with Sudhir, the credit for that goes to the EC members of NLSIU too. Perhaps the only NLU now where the EC does not bring its own agenda but allows a VC to run a place after recruiting him.
Yeah, I agree. They didn't oppose Sudhir's Expansion Plan and even allowed for the Domicile Quota despite the KarHC j'ment that struck it down. It's good for NLS that they aren't influenced by any external agendas or politics. One of the few law schools that can claim that.
