Tried to figure out in which metric NLUJ or GNLU is ahead of NUJS at present. Could not find a single answer. Be it placement, student performance, faculty publications, or any similar field. It is true that GNLU has more state funding, but it has been having that for over a decade now. It is what you do with the money that counts. Similarly, JGLS despite all the hype is not really ahead of NALSAR or even NLUD at this stage. It will never be so long as it has such an immense batch size and no quality control when it comes to student or faculty intake. These rankings are the product of an idle and ignorant mind, like most others of its kind at LI.
Would it be fair to say that:

i) NLUD has declined after the exit of Ranbir Singh and faculty exodus to NLSIU?
ii) NALSAR has similarly declined after Faizan Mustafa leaving?
iii) NLSIU and Jindal continue to surge ahead because of good VCs?
iv) NUJS and NLIU continue to fall, while GNLU and NLUJ overtake them?

If yes, will this be a fair ranking of top 10 law schools now (discounting placements) ?
