There were rumors of SKDR departing doing the rounds since March this year. Today (30th October) he has written a mail to the student body informing them of his departure. Now, in light of this, who will be the new VC? There have been some names that we have heard about, these include, G. S. Bajpai (RGNLU VC), Professor Ved Kumari (NLUO VC), and the current registrar Professor Harpreet Kaur. Does anyone know anything, speculations?

Bajpai has been lobbying hard in the circles that matter. However, there is a small chance that his previous controversies during his stay at NLUD may go against him, including allegations by a senior professor, though nothing came out of those.

VCV is the frontrunner acc to my sources.
