The answer is yes. NLSIU has a better record than these universities. The QS ranking should rank NLSIU much higher.
Nowhere even close, no. It can claim that status within India as on date, but that too because of its age compared to other NLUs. If one compares its performance with other top NLUs and even private universities like Jindal during the last 10 years, it has done nothing exceptional in these fields.
I would say only National Univ of Singapore can be considered better than NLSIU, though they are mostly at par. But NUS does better in rankings as they are very rich and can spend on faculty and infrastructure
An Asia-wide placement ranking would probably look like this:

1. Singapore
2. NLSIU
3. Hong Kong
4. China
5. Japan, Taiwan, South Korea
6 NALSAR
7. Jindal
8. NLUD
9. Malaysia, Indonesia
10. NUJS, NLUJ, GNLU
Placement ranking wise, NLSIU, NALSAR, Jindal or NLUD all lie behind NUJS, so your ranking is laughable. So is your knowledge about placement of law schools from other countries.
To NLSIU , NALSAR , Jindal

Bada NIRF rank hua to kiya hua , jaise pedh khajoor .......student ko placement nahi , student roye bahut in banglur .
from NUJS
People from Singapore, Hong Kong and China don't need to run to the UK because they are in a stronger economy and have access to a better quality of life at home. These countries offer generous scholarships to students who want to study abroad so they don't need to dig desperately like we do. All you're left with is moots and who knows whether anyone cares about those as much as Indians.
It's like saying that our law schools are better than all the German ones because German students take German scholarships and prefer to work in their own country.
