Unlikely. Funding winter has slowed PE/VC deals, but market consolidation is happening, M&A activity is steady. Indian leg transactions have gone slow, but there's considerable domestic activity. There's enough work to tide us all over.
Lets just hope that these freezes continue for atleast 2 years, which is likely, given the current trends.

People should look beyond law firms jobs and work in NGOs, or legal clinics. Use your legal knowledge to work for the underprivileged section of our society.
And what do you do? What have you done with your law degree? Besides preaching BS gyaan on legallyindia ?
abbey ye to pucha hi nahi usne... why do u have to bring ur useless politics into everything
Could definitely affect placements some years down the line, if the same conditions continue, but surely TCs nahi Milne waale,
I think this pressure could force modi to bring in foreign firms, and so more TCs
salaries never increase anyway in India, we may see it decreasing, especially the bonuses :(
Allow foreign law firms in India and create a National Judicial Service: you will immediately see a job boom.
