What's the total number of jobs accepted? Including PPO and Day Zero accepted offers?
This is good news. NUJS and GNLU both have been reporting some crazy number of jobs including PPO and Day Zero in this year. The more jobs, the better for law students I say!
that's actually pretty high, even in the times of aggressive hiring. Well done GNLU, nobody can say it's not a T1 NLU as of now.
Can anyone share the details

Which Firm - Number of Offers
Salary Range
Please provide a breakdown of at least some of the offers received, otherwise this post will be marked as contested or redacted.
The Day Z breakup is as follows:

CAM : 35
SAM :2
Trilegal :12
KCO: 7
Indus : 9
Luthra :7
Argus :3
Finsec :1
ICCI :1
Azb:1
How many finally got placed on day Z ? These are offers only.

Also how many ppos ?
SAM: 2
CAM: 35
Indus: 9
Trilegal: 12
KCo: 9
AZB: 1
ICICI: 1
FinSec: 1
Luthra: 3
Argus: Not sure but 3-6
What are the final figures ? How many people accepted on day Z ? There will be people who would have got multiple offers na. What are your PPO nos for 2023 ? Did you guys break the previous record ?
38 PPOs and 40-50 people placed on Day Z. Around 80-85 of the batch placed as things stand
So does this mean NLSIU and NALSAR had lots of foreign law firm offers?
Neither NLSIU nor NALSAR have ever had more than 4 foreign firm offers in a single batch since their inception. No Indian law school does.
Please acknowledge the fact that GNLU has a separate Recruitment officer, which most of the universities don't have.
Is that because their students cannot handle the firms on their own like those from the other NLUs can?
[...]. The committee on recruitment affairs comes 2nd on the list of most useless things in gnlu.
lol
the funniest thing is the name: CRA, Preparatory CRA (fourth years) and Pre-Preparatory CRA (third years)

unbelievable bullshit
To everyone reading Day Zero news on LI: please be careful between the distinction between offers and actual placements.

The top NLUs get 50+ offers on Day Zero but in reality, that's only about 25-30 people actually placed (since most top rankers have multiple offers). So 75 offers would translate to roughly 40-50 acceptances which is not necessarily large in terms of the percent of the batch actually placed (given the enormity of GNLU batches).

But it's definitely better than colleges with 150+ batch sizes. By this count, colleges JGLS and Symbiosis are not even close to GNLU.
40-50 acceptances excluding 38 PPO's. So that amounts to 78-88 individuals of the batch actually placed.
85 Jobs out of the approx 120 that sat and with Day 1 and all the things going around it will end around 110, 115. I would say that's super decent for GNLU.
Guys,

I think everyone is missing a point here, CAM is building a robus in-house counsel cum adani office in Gujarat. Hence so many offers from CAM ahemdabad for GNLU as they're most like to stay in Gujarat compared to a kid from other metro.

This is not a miracle it's a thought. Neither GNLU has changed anything or nor they have suddenly found the BEST candidate at one place.
