Non-Mumbai lawyers, how did you find flats/rooms around south bombay? Any references for brokers who aren't assholes? I'm an A0 shifting to Mumbai, absolutely clueless and the brokers I've talked to so far have been pushing shit places. Could use some help.

You can try this page on Facebook called Flats and Flatmates. It's been helpful for me in the past for renting a flat in Mumbai. On this page, there are ads posted by the owners themselves or by tenants looking for roommates/flatmates. You can directly talk to owners or tenants without dealing with brokers. You can also try NoBroker.in. Good luck!
