I got selected for the LLM at Tata Institute of Social Sciences. I wanted to do my LLM from here, so I'm really happy. But I'm a little confused as to how to make the most of the opportunities there. The one year LLM program is pretty short, and this time I want to excel academically, so I don't want to lose out on any chances due to lack of preparation. Those among you with an LLM and in academia, how was your method of studying different during your master's program than your UG days? How did you prepare yourself for a career in academia? If anyone's here from TISS, any additional tips? I know this sounds silly, but I really really want to be a gold medalist. Any specific way of studying that could help me achieve my goals?
