Regressive and socialist because it takes away the freedom of private schools and distracts from the real problem, which is the poor quality of government schools.
Also, IMO it should not apply to IB schools as they are not affiliated with any Indian board.
You write regressive and socialist side by side as if they belong to the same category, all the while taking advantage of multiple socialist policies of your own government. Hypocrisy much? Communism did fail in places where it had started, but given the income inquality and gross and growing difference in living standards of people all over the world, capitalism has not fared much better either so far.
