Tip - Apurva Jayant who joined JSA just about a year and 2 months back is leaving to go in-house. Looks like the EP (VR) and his attrition problems never seem to end - a PA left just this month as well among regular departures at lower levels. He seems to be the outlier in a firm that generally keeps its flock together.
JSA was Apurva's seventh law firm change in 13 years, is it really newsworthy that she switched again?
Just wondering what it is about this team (team VR) that causes people to quit in a firm that usually retains talent and what his problem is. She was some star partner at luthra by the sound of the comments in her Luthra -> JSA article so clearly something went wrong at VR's end.
Simple enough - if the EP's book size isn't big enough to afford an experienced RP, then exits are bound to happen. Small pockets, quick exits.
