I like how people debate farm laws on internet. As if either side understands it.
We already have free markets in agriculture. The farmers are free to sell wherever, but they also have the 'base price' (aka MSP) safety net. This safety net is needed to incentive production of food grains.

For more on connection between food grains, development and base price, see the 'Tracking Development' work of David Henley at Leiden.
Free markets in horticulture, milk is different from foodgrains, MSP was never a legal right and you should be reading M S Swaminathan on India. agriculture but not otherwise.
There is a world outside Law. I never stated MSP was a legal right, merely that it is a safety net (sort of like minimum wage).
Will never happen as 90% of procument happens from 3 states that too of 5 crops out of 25.
Isn’t one of the asks of the farmers movement that Swaminathan committee’s recommendations on MSP be applied?

Yet, 3.1 is seemingly speaking against MSP while asking another to read only Swaminathan. It seems you bhakts are so uneducated that you keep hitting your foot on the axe.
Atleast read what 5 6 report recommends instead of labelling. Swaminathan talked about tailoring MSP calculation and removing it all together to liberate the foodgrain sector with abolition of apmc act.
Congress Party have always supported farm laws. BJP supported and implemented it.

But BJP could have made consensus and implemented it instead of shoving down the throats.
Reforms create inequity. Socialistic pattern of society is part of our basic structure. Article 39(b) and (c) overrides Part 3. I don't know how many lawyers in LI are aware of this. Reforms only benefits a corporate slave in Peninsula Corporate Park and not a BA graduate in Darbhanga in Bihar.
Thank you for setting back Indian agricultural modernisation another 10 years. Also, love you Modiji
β€œkeep India poor”

Bestie the only β€œIndian” entities likely to become richer after the three farm laws were vertically integrated food businesses.

That money wasn’t going to reach you ❀️
