Because Prakash D Shah has left and started his own firm PDS legal. Considering the old PDS was EY affiliated, they had to change the name due to conflict.
Prakash D Shah (PDS) has retired.....firms moving away from a personality driven outlook to a professional one I guess
Can't believe they renamed their firm after the candlestick from Disney's Beauty and the Beast.
I wonder why EY didn't just rename PDS Legal as EY Law LLP or something, like their international counterparts...
SILF’s role is limited to throwing fits here and there but substantively, they can do nothing. Most law firms don’t even care about SILF. The Big 4s have been providing legal advice for a while now and if SILF objects to it formally, they’ll probably laugh it off thinking it to be a joke.
PDS stood for Printers, delivery boys and secretaries. Hence the name change
Ha ha ha ha... looks like someone couldn't make it so its a story of sour grapes
Papu To Crow: Business is low, people are abandoning us! What do we do?
