So me being first generation lawyer , I had a doubt regarding how long can a junior work with senior advocate I'm delhi/mumbai high court. Like do they leave after gaining some experience, or they can stay in the chambers forever if they are getting paid decently.
@Lucifer - The junior's stay in the senior advocate's chamber is determined by performance, equation /relationship with the senior, pay, amount of work/ matters coming to that office, etc. Seniors would prefer for juniors that they have invested in training stays with them provided that after the first year or two - they start to bring in business.
