Little is spoken of this AZB branch - is it just as toxic as its Mumbai counterpart? How are the partners and the associates? I'm thinking of laterally shifting here and would really appreciate some candour.
Transferred here after 3 years at Khaitan. Quit within the year, throughly burnt out and haven't worked at big law since. Enough said.
It is better than the other AZB offices for sure. Only downside is that you do not work in teams and can get work from anyone. Work life balance is better than Trilegal for sure.
Aditya Vikram Bhat's litigation team is really good, with a nice boss as well. Relatively good work life balance. Only downside is you have to pick up a working knowledge of Kannada sooner than later. But if you angle into the arbitration side of AVB's team, then no issues at all.
Stay away! Culture is cliquey, unreasonable expectations and sure shot burn out. Experienced it first hand.
