I want to practice in the M&A area once I graduate from Law School. I am currently in my 4th year and I have an inclination towards M&A. Can anyone share insights on how can I improve my CV on the basis of my field of interest ? I have done two tier 1 internships under the M&A team , what else can I do ?

If one can guide me through this then it would be great.

Thank you in advance.
A few tips:
- Please continue doing more and more Tier I internships.
- Study more about transaction law. You should focus on companies act, FEMA (FDI and ODI), various rights in the SHAs (things like ROFO, ROFR, tag, drag, put / call options, exit rights and so on), basics about arbitration, try to get real work assigned to you during internships (you can do so by gently offering your help to associates to assist them on due diligence, review of diligence documents etc.)
- Write articles and keep track of developments in M&A space.
- Lastly, if they seemed impressed, convey your desire to practice M&A (you never know they may offer you a PPO).

All the best :)
