Any insights on the SAM competition (Both Delhi and Mumbai) and capital markets (Mumbai) teams? How is the work culture and what kind of matters do they get, is it worth joining any of these teams?
They are the most profitable teams with the best work. Prashant Gupta and Nikhil Naredi are like marmite - you'll love em or hate em. As far as comp team is concerned, every associate is envious of them - best partners, best culture, genuinely nice peep.
White lies, seriously! Best partners haha. The team as well as some of the partners are always distressed because of some of the family partners. They don't need to give growth to any one. They are partners heavy (almost 10) and least profitable competition teams in terms of profit per partner. Other tier 1 teams with half the size and number of partners are doing equally good, making equally good money.
Agree with Insider on comp :)

Huge number of associates in in their mumbai and delhi teams combined . Does help with delaying burnout. If a fresher try interning with your team beforehand at least twice if you can. May help with making an informed choice. Teams do fit different people differently
