Can anyone please confirm the current pay at Azb & Partners across positions and whether Jiaaah plans to hike retainer fees?
By the time more than half of AZB's associates would have resigned, is when they will think of a hike.
Reviews have started at AZbie and the hike given to associates (so far) is way below the market. Heard that people have already started putting in their papers. If rumors are right, Trilegal and S(CAM) HR teams have started reaching out to associates on LinkedIn directly. The idealogy of replacing experienced associates with freshers will hit very hard. Best of luck AZBie associates, we can feel your pain.

Please don't forget to reach out to us, in case you are putting down your papers.

This is true.

Better to jump ships

Bonus is about 2.25 months pay - for most people

Hike is about 10-15%. No increase in retainer bands - unlike CAM and Trilegal

Given that there were no increments done last year, this is quite disappointing. Also the management is shamelessly ignoring that this has been a great year business wise plus a lot of operating costs are saved.

Other news is that Zia is asking everyone about their vaccination status with the intent to open offices as soon as possible. They will not organise vaccination camp for the second dose because β€œpeople should pay for their own vaccine”.

There is just talk about how you need to do everything about the firm without any genuine care about people’s well being and their personal lives.
Frankly, this is almost every Tier1 firm right now.Its a pandemic and people are dying, not firms. But they want that employees should take care of firms.Selfish capitalist money minded managements are just too much.
With my hike, so I won't take a hike

This is a great HR strategy - everyone else should take tips: leave nasty feedback about competitive firms instead of actively hiring.
They have become more ruthless and are shameless. They are questioning people for their hours. Knowing the fact that Covid has not been easy for anyone and doing household work plus managing client and work has been challenging. No wonder AZB has such a bad reputation when it comes to work life balance. Guys anyone who wants to join AZB should neither get married nor have kids and should agree to work as a slave as per their whims and fancies.
Bonuses averaging at 2 months (1 month, in some cases!), and average/ below average hikes. Trying to make it look like a bigger deal than it is because they've deigned to throw in some hikes for last year as well. Forget market matching, does feel below-market at this point.
