I am an incoming intern at JSA, Gurugram. (Competition Law)
Following are my questions:
1. What is JSA's PPO process like? Can someone walk me through the various stages? 2. How does one do their bit to bag a PPO? Nature of work? Networking? 3. How is JSA's Competition Law team? What kind of matters do they deal with? 4. On an average how many freshers does JSA take for its Competition Law team?
I had this conversation with an Associate during my internship last summer. They have a three internship PPO policy. Which means you'll have to get 2 callbacks and then hope to impress them in your third internship in order to bad a PPO. Makes you want to think if it's even worth it.
That's a lot of effort, and if you somehow not get it in the last stage... You can't through other places, because they'll always ask- Why did you not get an offer at JSA?
