Can someone please tell me how difficult it is to shift to a transactions team from a disputes team of a tier 1 firm. Would appreciate some inputs.
Why would you want to shift? Is it because of the pay or the kind of work because transactional would be paper pushing at the end of the day as opposed to disputes which atleast keeps you closer to drawing analysis ?please correct me if my understanding was wrong
Money might become an issue, is my reason atleast.plus it seems worrying to get boxed in so early. (I understand litigation is veryy broad but you have to be very entrepreneurial to make it if you leave a tier 1 firm and atleast in my (Maybe not so informed) opinion, transactional work has a good salaried work scene, could eventually move in house etc.). Easier escape route if you really need the money, it seems like
Is transactions work quite difficult to handle if you are planning to shift from disputes?
