Is it a good idea to pay NRI quota fees and go to NUJS or pay NRI quota fees to do MBBS?

Does NRI quota students in law command any respect in their batch or when they pass?

Do NUJS write in the degree a student who is a NRI quota candidate passed as NRI quota?
After you are in, nobody cares what your CLAT rank used to be. In fact, remembering it can be bad for your own development as a law student and future lawyer. The reservation that you might have availed is neither reflected in your transcript nor in any official document including roll numbers. Some of the students who came in using that reservation eventually ended up becoming some of the best students in the batch.
The NUJS NRI quota fee for all five years would be close to 2 years of the MBBS fee. The general seats in private/deemed medical colleges usually exceeds 10 lacs.
You should first decide whether you wish to study medicine or law. Those require two different skill sets.
The NRI quota fee at some mid tier NLUs is comparable to that of a private university (approx 5 lpa with hostel fee). I feel that is still a good option if you are drawn to the NLU tag.
