A friend of mine did his masters in Economics from abroad after doing his BA LLB from a top NLU. Went on to finish his PhD in Economics. Currently working with the World Bank.

It will be helpful if you intend specialising in competition law or anti-dumping practice; otherwise, not much use. Do note that you need to be good in mathematics as you have papers like Mathematical Economics and Econometrics which, while optional in some institutes, are compulsory in others.
