That's for any education including primary and higher streams. And the government is not giving the loan, the banks would with government as the surety. Nor is it exclusively for law. Enough with the click bait headlines!
It's a proud moment to see that the notification speaks of NLUs and IIT in the same breadth but NLUs are suffering from a funds crunch and must be nationalised like IIT.
Interesting. XLRI and ICFAI Business School are the ones mentioned specifically by name instead of being mentioned as a category of institutions like IIMs, SPA and NLUs.
Also important to mention then:
1. The loan is sans collateral from part of the student.
2. It is for any course within WB, outside WB, or even abroad.
3. The interest of 4% is SIMPLE INTEREST. This makes a gigantic difference.
Populist stunt for votes. She could have given the money to NUJS instead.
Think logically. Wouldn't this policy benefit Bengali students, irrespective of where they study? Were she to give money to NUJS only very few Bengali students who were lucky enough to get into NUJS would receive the benefit. But I know you are a troll and I don't know why I am engaging with you.
