Most people would think that IIMA is much better than NLSIU in placements. But this video by influencer Abhishek Jain (IIM Vishakapatnam alum and Sr Consultant at Capgemini) gives a very interesting perspective. IIMA is a postgrad course where people usually graduate after 3-4 years of undergrad + 1 year of CAT prep + 2 years MBA, whereas people graduate from NLSIU earlier as an undergrad. So by the time an NLSIU grad reaches the age of an IIMA grad the salaries will be a lot closer. Also, Abhishek points out that McKinsey recruit from NLSIU and nowhere else.

Many may debate this, but at least we can say that NLSIU is better than all IIMs except A/B/C. That itself is a big deal.

Even an "office mein baap kaun, law school law school" guy like myself would cringe at this level of trolling by OP.
McKinsey recruits from IITs, does that make IITs better than IIMs? They offer completely different things, and should not be compared. With that being said, NLS or any other NLU is not even in the same league honestly. NLUs offer a unidimensional perspective on life, and students there miss out on the larger picture that IITs and IIMs offer. Salaries are the most stupid measure of worth btw. Grow up!
Ofcourse it is. Being a student of NlSIU is also better than winning the noble prize in physics, being a 13 time french open champion, having a batting average of over 100 in tests and winning the football world cup twice, combined. NLS is the dream Martin Luther was talking about. NLS is the daffodil of Wordsworth, the damsel of Shakespeare, the drop of rain on desert sand and the pubic hair on Dumbledore's wand
NLS got us renaissance from the dark ages, independence from the colonialists, liberalisation from the protectionists, and protection from the sub-prime depression.
True. NLS' contribution to the world of art and literature is often overlooked. Let us not forget that both Sandro Botticelli and Leornardo Da Vinci as well as their patron Lorenzo De Medici were among the earlier alumni of NLS, at its earlier campus in Florence.
GLC - no college - huge paying job = better than IIMA, Harvard and Oxbridge.
