Want to move to ahmedabad... want to know the firms with offices (CAM/JSA/), as well as how well do they pay?

All Ahmedabad offices are just glorified BPOs of the Mumbai office. Actual corporate work happens out of Mumbai. You'll almost never see an Ahmedabad team alone in any transaction above USD 2mil or so.

(This is doesn't apply to litigation, where ahmedabad lawyers do serious work and get to appear in local courts)

Makes sense. So by all means it implies that one has to join a firm it would have to be either in Bombay, Delhi or Bangalore?

Or you could work in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and then move to Ahmedabad once you have made decent money, for a better position and more of work life balance.

Depends on what you what to do na. PE/VC teams are doing great, but capmarks are lul in Banglur.

CAM, SAM, WG, ICUL, JSA - all have offices in Ahmedabad.

What could be a better option - (A) Litigation in Ahmedabad (B) Joining any law firm (dispute team) having office in Ahmedabad.

Note - Not willing at all to leave Ahmedabad to work at any other place.
