Why there are no/less Lower Judicial Services Officers becoming Supreme Court and High Court Judge's?

In High Courts, Less than 20% of the judges are taken from Lower Judicial Services while 80 % of the judges are taken from Senior Advocates.in Supreme Court almost 99% of Judge's are appointed directly from the Bar.

Direct Appointment has always resulted in Nepotism. Whereby it's very difficult for a First Generation Lawyer to be a High Court Judge. Majority of Supreme Court/High Court judges have family members in top posts across Judiciary/Law/Politics.

Why is it hard for Lower Judicial Services Officers to get promoted to High Court and Supreme Court?
But since bulk of the matters in this country still get decided by them, what does it say about the judicial system?
No court is an exception, brother. Even the HCs are not spared. The HCs and the SC can go wrong depsite immense exposure. this is not to side with the lower judiciary. But, what the lowwr judiciary with pathetic infra and very bad lawyering is commendable indeed.
I never said that they are bad. In fact, I meant the opposite via irony. If they are the one shouldering the bulk of the justice system in the country, one cannot and should not count them out.
Slow promotions. A JMIC gets promoted to ADJ in 10-15 years and then add 15-20 years more to become a HC judge. In Punjab 1991 batch officers were elevated in 2019, simillarly in Delhi HC 2000 batch ADJ and 1985 DJS were elevated in 2019.
