Let's discuss what are the yearly/monthly billables required at Associate/Senior Associate/Principal Associate levels respectively, for one to be eligible for bonus??
The usual target is 2000 hours per years. But how much should actually be billables out of these 2000 hours?
I heard you need to bill around 2.5 to 3 times your salary to be eligible for bonus. If that's the case then at Associate levels (A0 - A3 the salaries being max 22-23 lakhs) one should not be required to bill more than 1000-1200 billable hours (because it roughly converts into around 80-90 lakhs i.e., easily 3 times the salary at associate levels). Then why will anyone at associate level bill more than 1200 hours?
