The answer to your question is yes. CAM has arranged for free vaccination at Mumbai and Bangalore office for the lawyers and other staff. Lawyers can also get their dependents vaccinated but with additional cost. Staff + 1 of their family member is free.

I want to know how employees or retainers are signing up "voluntarily" for this "free" vaccination drive.CAM was the first to call back employees to office in October 2020.Apparently,there was such negative reaction to that call back ,that they came out with those big announcements on WFH model.This vaccination "free" drive will spark controversy,they will probably make return to office physically a compulsion post vaccination.There are no free lunches.
Apne partner ka nam bata do, will apply for a transfer. Mine made us all come back in October only WFH be damned. Then sent us back, then made vague threats about appraisal season. That new WFH policy is utter bogus and anyone who's actual in CAM knows it
A top T1 like CAM doing this makes one wonder what's the firm's management and partners really like, if this is the level of insensitivity to own employees in a pandemic. Have clients, at least foreign ones, not said anything?
Ya ya"voluntary","optional"- think these are Scam arguments,fact is calling employees to office physically in middle of pandemic is endangerment to lives - theirs and their families.Its insensitive and employees would be afraid to tell bosses that they don't want to report physically at office.These scam arguments not gonna work.
I think you are from CAM and you only started this thread so that you can announce to the world of the generosity of CAM in absorbing the vaccination costs for your fee/non-fee earners.Why do it like this,do it through some PR announcement.
Yeah! Jsa is footing the bill for our vaccinations wherever we get them done (no need to report to office to get it done). Great boon given lot of the junior folk are scattered across the country.
Bhai, firm lakh rupay mere kaam k liye deti hai and for nothing else. A number of companies have been getting their employees vaccinated as a measure of care for its people. A firm footing the bill would be doing the same. By your logic, phone ka bhi mat do, laptop bhi mat do, travel costs reimburse mat karo, late night food reimburse mat karo - lakh rupay se kaam chal jayega.
Bhai, vaccination aur kapde kharidne ko compare mat karo. I am not saying the firms should be doing it but if they do it, it is to show that they care about their people. After all, jeene-marne ka sawal hai, bhai. It is an extra-ordinary situation.
The question is which firm is procuring vaccines and which firm is telling all the retainers and partners to register on the government portal and get vaccinated like every other ordinary citizen. GOI has recently allowed private firms to import even Moderna and Pfizer.
