I had almost given up law by my third year. Just couldn't see the point of it. Then a young faculty member who was also an alumnus offered a course to my batch. Few of us took it up. It actually changed my perspective and made me like law, in particular financial law. He also proved to be a great mentor over the years, even after law school. Always had time to spare to listen to problems and offer sensible advice. Lifesaver in ways more than one.
