Hope CLAT and all other entrances will be cancelled this year. Covid is spiralling out of control
Why do you want them to be cancelled? If you are afraid to give it even following social distancing protocol, then you do not have to. Sit for it next year, which is what you would have done on cancellation anyway. If others can give the exam while observing such norms, then they should be allowed to do so. The norms need to be strictly enforced, that's all.
Absolutely. We must have online CLAT like LSAT. The SJW access-wallas can go whine somewhere else.
Or else you can give an online LSAT, seize your whining here, and go to Jindal. Leave the public institutions to the public who are actually concerned with access. You seem to be quite a privileged brat from your comment.
You realize that all your privileges (access) are a result of your birth that you did nothing to attain, right? You seem to be quite delusional and ignorant of the reality around you, a ticking time tomb for a compassionate civilized society.
There is NO F***KING WAY a physical CLAT will happen this year and you are a fool to think otherwise. After the Maha and Delhi wave ends in May, another wave will start in Bengal in June, as a result of the elections. After that it will again spread to the rest of the country and lead to yet another wave in August. Such waves will keep happening until universal vaccination in 2022, thanks to to the dumb socialist vaccine policy which is not leaving it to the market.

If LSAT is too expensive, the LNAT experiment can be repeated by all NLUs, this time with a better software
And are you going to ensure that every student who wishes to give the exam has access to a working computer and a strong enough Internet connection? If you can, then there is no objection that I would have against an online exam. But you cannot, so there you go.

Abe are you going to ensure that every student who wishes to give an exam would have enough money to afford transportation to exam centres because as far as I know cyber cafes are cheaper than the travel costs associated for most students who often have to travel to different towns. Also are you going to ensure that every student gets all the needed medication in case they contact w the virus at the center because in states like UP there aint no meds available. Nor are these newer meds affordable, be pragmatic dude.
Rofl! Someone who believes that cyber cafes with facilities capable of giving a high-stress competitive exam with are readily accessible in every corner of this country is talking about pragmatism! Leave your house and maybe travel around in your own state out of your privileged cocoon, if not the whole country.
LSAT was conducted beautifully, CLAT shouldn’t be postponed because it will have long lasting effects on on student’s life. You graduate late or you miss a couple of internship periods both of which are not favourable. To increase accessibility the government can do what was implemented in some private exams (NMIMS) for MBA. Government can make available some cyber centres, where computers are available along with wifi and students could be given the option to either go to one of these centres or appear from their home. It was noticed that most people who have access prefer appearing from home and if extremely strict social distancing is followed at cyber centres things can be conducted while ensuring that exams are accessible. The only thing that I am afraid of is that, it will lead to a lot of instances of unfair means and cheating. LSAT was conducted perfectly because it’s organiser LSAC has international expertise and the nature and invigilators of exam were such that there was no scope of cheating. But there was exorbitant use unfair means in SLAT which was also reported by LI. And I believe are only gonna be worse.
People giving LSAT and people giving CLAT do not come from the same demographic. Once again, those interested in giving an online exam can simply give LSAT and go to Jindal instead of demanding that all exams be made online.
If you knew how to read, then I have clearly asked for provision of offline cyber centres for those who don’t have resources. But of course you’re blinded by your hate for something else. And at this moment this contempt has overtaken any concern you had for the health of people in India or even your family members
You are talking about changing the digital infrastructure of a whole country in a few months for an entrance exam of institutes which the government doesn't even care enough about to nationalise. Are you on the good stuff from Manali? There aren't adequate number of fully functioning cyber cafes for giving exams in all parts of this country. On the other hand, there's no evidence that if you wear a mask, maintain distancing, sanitise yourself properly, even then there's an overwhelming possibility of getting infected. So it's your argument that lacks rationality, not mine. Once again, in India, no entrance exam should be conducted online if the aspirants are to be provided with fair access.
Life and safety are more important than woke Marxist beliefs. #WeWantOnlineCLAT.
Level playing field or at least approximation thereof is absolutely essential for any entrance exam. You are just afraid that you won't crack it unless half the people can't give it and/or you can't cheat from home.
Yes, life, which includes equal socio economic opportunities for all and not just the privileged few such as you, should be safeguarded at all costs.
