Hi, I was just wondering if the work culture in law firms differs majorly across different cities, or if it is more or less the same all over the major cities in the country.
By work culture, I'm mainly referring to camaraderie (or the lack of it) between peers, nature of interaction between juniors and seniors, working hours, a five or a six or a seven day work week, level of delegation of work to juniors, etc.
Would like to hear from those who have worked across different cities, what are the major differences in work culture that you came across when you moved across cities?
In Delhi, Litigation teams seem like the 'cool ones', whereas in Mumbai, it's the corp teams that seem much more glamorous.
Can't really think of any difference in work culture. It'll pretty much depend on the team you are working with. You can have good or bad bosses and/or peers in any city.
