Should I be focusing upon particular things in law school so as to improve my chances of getting a vac scheme in 4th year?
One tip most people don't know is that they don't vet CV's or do background checks. Their recruitment is outside typical law school recruitment committees, so there is no vetting by RCC, so there is a lot of things that can be fixed up, and people who vie for these jobs typically have very corporate CV, and people may be surprised how common it is for people to lie about research work/ social work/ extra curriculars to present a rounded CV.
Just attended a VC
This is totally wrong, they check every single document, vo bhi original, they rejected like 5 people for slight discrepancies, read the declaration form at the end of the application
Just be passionate about what you do, and do everything you believe you can passionately work towards
Are they even worth it anymore? You have to wait like 4 years before u can even sustain on a TC, and then the prospect of failing in the SQE 1 AND 2 (50 and 70 percent pass percentage this year, astonishingly tough) and then the recession looming so fewer hires from the vac guys?
