New Company Makes Learning the Basics of U.S. Law and the U.S. Legal System Accessible and Affordable!

Getting an edge in learning US law
Getting an edge in learning US law
Sponsored post: Professor Frank S. Ravitch has spoken on U.S. Constitutional Law Issues around the world, and is the author of several books and numerous articles. Throughout his travels he noticed that many foreign lawyers and law students are interested in U.S. Law, but lack background on the basics of the U.S. legal system, government system and U.S. law, just as most U.S. lawyers lack similar background in the law of other nations. For example, do you know that the U.S. President's power is far more limited than most people around the world think? Or that the power of judges in the United States is far broader than most people think? Or that President George W. Bush's use of Guantanamo may have indeed been unconstitutional?

Professor Ravitch realized that getting information on the basics of U.S. law and the United States legal system to foreign lawyers and law students in an accessible format would immensely helpful to non-U.S. lawyers who deal with U.S. based clients or issues, or who want to do so, and to foreign law students or lawyers who plan to study law in the U.S. in LL.M. or J.D. programs. The key was making the information available in an accessible and affordable format. Thus, www.learninguslaw.com was born.

www.learninguslaw.com is a website dedicated to helping those interested in United States law learn the basics of U.S. law and the U.S. legal system. Our products and services are designed to help prepare foreign students to study in U.S. LL.M. or J.D. programs, and to give foreign lawyers interested in U.S. law a competitive advantage over other non-U.S. lawyers by providing the background and information to better understand U.S. law and the U.S. Legal System. We do this through downloadable videos featuring experts in U.S. Law and the U.S. Legal System, which are accompanied by materials designed to compliment the videos and serve as independent resource materials. All video purchases include the accompanying materials in a universal PDF format that should be easy to open and use on any computer.

www.learninguslaw.com also has a members only section of the website that allows those studying law in the U.S. or those planning to do so to interact in live chatrooms, post to and read posts on bulletin boards, and access useful legal materials. The members only section also includes a weekly U.S. law video or interactive question and answer session with a U.S. Law Professor. There are monthly or annual memberships and also package deals that allow purchase of both currently available videos and/or annual membership.

Given the increased legal interaction between the U.S. and India, www.learninguslaw.com is a valuable resource to lawyers and law students in India, and to those interested in U.S. law generally.
