JSA promotes 23 to senior associate level, Mumbai gets half

J Sagar Associates (JSA) promoted 23 associates to senior associate level across all offices and promoted one consultant to of counsel in addition to having made four new salaried partners effective 1 April.

Mahadev Prakash who joined JSA Bangalore as a consultant in 2013, was made of counsel.

The firm promoted four associates to senior associate in Banglaore, seven in Delhi and 11 in Mumbai, with Sankalp Sharma promoted to senior knowledge management (KM) associate level:

Bangalore:

  • Roy George,
  • Siddharth Suresh, and
  • Vishnu Nair.

Delhi:

  • Ashlesha Srivastava,
  • Rajul Bohra,
  • Rishabh Gupta,
  • Shantanu Jindel,
  • Shivani Chugh,
  • Tishampati Sen and
  • Udhav Gulati.

Mumbai:

  • Ankit Guha,
  • Birbahadur Sachar,
  • Daryush Marfatia,
  • Dishi Garg,
  • Kunal Kaul,
  • Narayan Kedia,
  • Prerna Arora,
  • Purazar Fouzdar,
  • Shaswata Dutta,
  • Ushasi Das, and
  • Arti Raghavan.

Mumbai of counsel Kannan Rahul, Delhi senior associates Arpita Garg and Vishal Anand and Bangalore senior associate Marie Julie John were made salaried partners, as four reported last week. Garg who joined in 2010 and Rahul who joined in January 2015 are in the firm’s banking and finance practice, John who joined the firm in 2009 is in corporate and M&A and Anand who joined in 2011 is in corporate and regulatory.

Khaitan & Co has promoted 30 to principal associate and 28 to senior associate.
