Applicants from Tamil Nadu must be suffering greatly, since their registration with the state bar council is held up by slow, court-imposed criminal checks, and registration at the state level is required to apply for the AIBE. One can foresee many law grads from TN who will be forced to wait years to receive state admission, pass an AIBE and then receive an admission certificate from BCI.
The Bar Council's continuing inability to run the exam competently should be tracked as a matter of public record.
