Amarchand Mangaldas advised Suzlon Energy on the Rs 1,800 crore acquisition of 23 per cent stake in it by Sun Pharmaceuticals promoter Dilip Shanghvi and family who were advised by PH Bathiya & Associates.
Amarchand Mumbai managing partner Cyril Shroff and partner Yash Asher acted for Suzlon.
Suzlon will allot 10 million shares on preferential basis to Shanghvi family members and companies owned by him and the stake of Tanti and other promoter entities will decline to 24 per cent from 30.94 per cent after the acquisition, reported Business Standard.

Who on earth is Duhh to ask who the hell is PH Bathiya.
Why "desperate propaganda" or "insiders well wishers of kandivali thane firm"? Are you burning by seeing some firm do well? I believe this was a good deal and PH Bathiya was advicing opposite Amarchand Mangaldas. Promoters of Sun Pharma do not look like small clients to me. A good lawyer is someone who does his work quietly and not care about some anonymous comment on LegallyIndia. I think you are really jobless after 10 years in this profession that you found time to come out and attack a good law firm who advices on many M&A transactions in a year. I am happy that we have a law firm doing well and equally sad that some insignificant anonymous person with 10 years professional experience is so jobless to pass comments on others. I hope PH Bhatiya and his Associates do not have a future like yours.
Yes... All the best to them.
