Sastra University makes MPL debut with Surana IT win, as NLU-Orissa continues high-scoring mooting streak

School of Law, Sastra University made its MPL debut by winning the Surana & Surana International Technology Law Moot Court at Symbiosis Pune after besting NLU Odisha in the Tier 4 moot last month.

The winning team comprised of K Srinandan, Varsha Chandrasekhar and G Annapoorani.

Srinadan said: “The problem was the most challenging one I have ever come across and the the judges were equally well prepared especially in the final round against NLU Odisha.”

Mohit Negi of RMLNLU won the Best Speaker citation while the Runners up NLU Odisha also bagged the Best Memorial award.

NLU Jodhpur and RMLNLU were the other two semi finalists at the competition.

RMLNLU now stands at the third position in the MPL standing followed by NLU Odisha.
