NLIU Bhopal has placed 38 out of 81 students who graduated this year, with 10 Big Six firm jobs - Amarchand Mangaldas and Khaitan & Co - and nine other law firm jobs while seven graduates joined named litigation chambers.
Eight graduates went on to pursue LLMs from national law universities and foreign schools, with three joining the alma mater’s LLM program.
This batch had started its Day Zero months after other top law schools had begun, with a visit by Amarchand and Clifford Chance’s offshoring outfit OSC.
In 2011 and 2012, NLIU graduates scored around 33 and 31 jobs respectively. The college, and others, did not disclose their figures in 2013.
Legally India has reported that CNLU Patna placed 17 out of 63 graduates in 2014, AIL Mohali placed 35 out of 80 graduates and RGNUL placed six out of 70 graduates.
Big Six law firm jobs made up 16 out of 45 jobs bagged by NLU Delhi 2014 graduates, 25 out of 42 jobs bagged by NLSIU 2014 graduates, 25 out of 72 jobs bagged by NUJS 2014 graduates, and 26 out of 71 jobs bagged by Nalsar 2014 graduates.
None of the Big Six visited HNLU’s campus where 29 out of 81 graduates secured jobs, while RMLNLU set a new institutional record with 45 jobs for its 150 graduates this year, and NUALS placed one-third of its 2014 graduates.
Editor’s note: We are reaching out to other 2014 recruitment committees who have now graduated. We remain hopeful that GNLU Gandhinagar and Christ Bangalore will disclose soon. Please get in touch with us at to arrange sharing the final figures.

In that case, why was NLIU so reluctant to release final placement figures? You think 8 AMSS placements out of a batch of 80 is something great?? NLIU just ran away from publishing 2014 batch figures!! Now you are jumping again over 8 AMSS placements...I also believe last year 6 were recruited by AMSS and NOT "8" as quoted by you...
What about the other 72 dumbass? Couldn't you reply on that??
Jai Bhopu
As far as the other 72 students are concerned, only 40-41 students sat for placements, out of which 38 were recruited!
I for sure know 40-41 DID NOT sit for placements!! There were many more..
I'm In the PCC, and I know who all and how many sat for the Placements!! You get your facts right and stop criticising an Instituion constantly, and it'll not affect the Institution, for everyone knows, what glory NLIU has, and these shitty comments would not affect neither the placements and nor the Instituion in any manner!
not only male take over them but also female take over them. LOL
I don't know but I'm saying this, NLIU is the fastest growing Law School of India!!
And i agree with @NLSite
I also got to know that NLIU has changed some of the faculties which are really good!!
All the best NLIU!!
